Telenavis Suports INSPIRE directive - part of a suite of European Directives that aim to standardize and ensure access to public data across Europe. The INSPIRE directive is a major driving force for the management and publishing of metadata for spatial information. Because it affects many of our customers in the public sector it also affects our development of new solutions. Our working title for the solutions we develop for managing metadata is MapInfo Manager. For organizations that need to create, manage and share spatially relevant data. MapInfo Manager server-solution is a part of the PBBI Enterprise LI suite. It provides empowerment to data custodians and GIS administrators to establish a single point of truth across their spatial data asset portfolio; define and maintain descriptive metadata catalogues and publish these resources to target audiences in a variety of access formats for appropriate usability; MapInfo Manager helps put spatial assets to work to meet organizational and regulatory requirements (INSPIRE, for example) while minimizing the investment required. MapInfo Manager has been designed to fit in with current processes and provide the most intuitive and easy to use spatial data management product available today. |
